PinCandy is a Telegram-based service that allows users to connect a Pinterest account and interact with features related to their own Pinterest profile and Pins.

Information we may process

Depending on the features used, PinCandy may process:

Telegram user identifier and basic Telegram profile information available to the bot;
Pinterest user identifier and Pinterest username;
information about Pins and boards available through authorized Pinterest API access;
OAuth access and refresh tokens required to maintain the Pinterest connection;
PinCandy Candy balance and transaction history;
task and campaign history;
technical information required for security and operation of the service.

Pinterest authorization

Pinterest account access is intended to use Pinterest's official OAuth authorization process. PinCandy does not request, receive, or store a user's Pinterest password.

How information is used

Information is used to operate PinCandy, connect a Pinterest account, associate Pins with the connected account, maintain balances and service history, prevent abuse, provide support, and secure the service.

Data sharing

PinCandy does not sell personal data. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers where necessary to operate the service and may be disclosed when legally required.

Data security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect stored information. Authentication secrets and tokens are not intended to be publicly exposed.

Disconnecting Pinterest

Users will be able to disconnect their Pinterest account from PinCandy. When disconnected, PinCandy will stop using the associated authorization tokens.
